We’re talking generous Cobb Salads, hearty breakfast platters, and their huge late lunch specials. If that’s not really your thing, they’ve also got excellent coffee, quick service, and the friendly attention from Pimlada it would be oh-so-nice to just have around.

We love anything that feels like a homecoming, because no matter how many brunch spots we bookmark, we will almost always crave that familiar comfort. Another Broken Egg Cafe understands this, and their weekend experience is a celebration of doing brunch right, while feeling like you’re visiting a close friend’s home. It’s a whole morning situation, starting with a spread that includes soft shell crab with eggs, jambalaya, bacon, and potatoes.
Moving onto those well-liked pancakes and ending with that friendly service from staff like Charlene and Tami. They’ve even sorted out the atmosphere for you, with that welcoming vibe that makes the wait worthwhile.

This top-notch restaurant on the Gulf is big on views and feelgood factor. And if you want to get a meal that won’t be forgotten, then check out their standout dishes. It’s packed full of flavor, from the lobster tail to the blackened redfish. As well as homemade salad dressings, we’re very into their coconut shrimp appetizer that can be enjoyed as a starter or very satisfying snack. Plus, it’s only $14.
The casual, rustic atmosphere is enhanced by beautiful aquariums and stunning beach views, with the water views being especially spectacular. The friendly and personable servers provide great recommendations and ensure that guests’ cups never run dry. Many find the food to be good and reasonably priced, with outstanding service that makes every visit enjoyable. However, some recent experiences have been affected by loud tables nearby, which can detract from the relaxing atmosphere.
Despite this, Captain Dave’s remains a favorite spot for good food, friendly staff, and beautiful scenery.
