Beaumont gets a bad rap, but oil refineries, humid summers, and chain restaurant sprawl aside, if you spend any time here, you know it’s an incredible place for smoky, slow-cooked flavor. So here are 10 of our favorite spots in town for barbeque. We’ll continue to update this list, so if your favorite pit isn’t included, email us at [email protected].
Charlie’s Bar B Que & Catering
$ | (409) 767-7683 | WEBSITE

A classic, no-frills spot in Beaumont, Charlie’s has a drive-thru and straightforward dining area right off the highway. They serve Texas-style barbecue plates like the brisket with coleslaw and baked beans, and have a limited, sauce-focused menu. The beef rib on Saturdays and the pork chop sandwich are local favorites, and the loaded baked potatoes are also popular. Charlie’s remains a go-to barbecue joint, with many regulars considering it their top pick for smoked meats.
Rogers BBQ Barn
$ | (409) 553-9929 | WEBSITE

Rogers BBQ Barn is back with a great new outdoor seating area featuring rustic wooden tables, string lights, and – crucially, with that Texas sun – plenty of shade. The smoked and slow-cooked meats are where we focus our attention here, especially their excellent brisket.
Patillo’s Barbeque
$ | (409) 833-3156 | WEBSITE

Open for years, this local favorite continues to serve up generous portions at great prices. What hasn’t changed are their fantastic meats, like the Sliced Beef Sandwich on a bun, the to-die-for Chip Beef Sandwich, and their juicy ribs. The staff remains genuinely nice, and the service stays fantastic. This is the greatest BBQ in Beaumont.
Uncle Henry’s Tamales
$ | (409) 924-0302 | WEBSITE

The drive-through at Uncle Henry’s Tamales feels like the quick-stop window of the Texas roadside joint you’ve been searching for. The friendly chatter, fast service, and extensive tamale menu make this a great spot for your first lunch break in weeks (especially with the added convenience of walk-up options). Grab some signature dishes, like chili cheese Frito pie or smoked Boudin, and some cracklins’, and you’ll drive away satisfied. Pull up to the window.
Tony’s BBQ & Steakhouse
$ | (409) 434-1056 | WEBSITE

Not only does Tony’s BBQ & Steakhouse serve some of our favorite barbecue in Beaumont, this family-friendly spot also has fantastic parking in their own lot – which is exactly why we’re so excited about their all-you-can-eat Thursdays. If eating perfectly cooked ribs and brisket sandwiches in a cozy wild west atmosphere isn’t on your “Things I Enjoy In Life” list, perhaps you need to reconsider some things.
LongHorn Steakhouse
$$ | (409) 892-1212 | WEBSITE

This classic, all-day steakhouse is a full-service restaurant, a bar, and a grill, all in one spacious dining room in Beaumont. They’ve got a solid menu, so focus on the steaks – especially the Parmesan crusted steak, with its crispy coating and rich flavor, and the grilled shrimp. Make a reservation here.
Texas Roadhouse
$$ | (409) 257-3046 | WEBSITE

Texas Roadhouse’s family-friendly dining experience recently got even better with their quick seating system – and an even quicker, attentive staff like Karizma who go above and beyond. The birthday saddle celebration adds a fun surprise, though the music can get ridiculously loud, making conversation tricky. Parking is plentiful, making visits convenient. Their margaritas are a must-try, and the perfectly cooked Cactus Onion adds to the delicious food at just the right prices.
Despite getting very busy, the service remains top-notch, making it a place many are eager to return to for special occasions or casual nights out.
Broussard’s Barbecue
$ | (409) 225-5956 | WEBSITE

Broussard’s Barbecue has been serving Beaumont for years and they’re still going strong. That means the days of savoring tender ribs with that perfect smoke flavor, enjoying brisket that melts in your mouth, and digging into sides like rice dressing and baked beans have returned. Hooray.
KO Korean Grill
$$ | (409) 299-9758 | WEBSITE

KO Korean Grill will continue serving its popular all-you-can-eat specials in 2026, offering a fun dining experience where guests can cook their own food at the table. The menu includes favorites like marinated ribeye, chicken, sirloin, pork chops, brisket, and beef belly, all prepared fresh either on the grill or in the kitchen. Creative options like Korean fried chicken and garlic soy sauce wings are also highly praised, while the bar provides a good selection of soju and cocktails.
The restaurant features a clean, family-friendly environment with a nice layout and easy parking, though some reviews mention waiting times due to being understaffed. Reservations are recommended for this lively Beaumont spot.
