If you enjoy a platter, the 3 meat meal is a substantial spread of ribs, sausage, and pulled pork, and it’ll make you feel like you just scored the winning touchdown on a Saturday afternoon.
Trapper’s Smokehouse

This popular spot in the park has some of the most satisfying barbecue in the area, and we’ve yet to try a dish we haven’t enjoyed. Sure, you can get a really good basic sampler with fries here, but we highly recommend branching out. The Trapper’s signature smoked chicken, featuring a ½ BBQ chicken with fries and a roll, is a standout choice. The staff is consistently helpful, especially with dietary needs, and the kid-friendly, accessible atmosphere makes it a solid pick.
While some may find the smoked flavor subtle, the portions are generous, the food arrives hot, and those fries are consistently praised. It’s a decent barbecue place that delivers where it counts.
