Navigating Flushing’s burger scene can overwhelm even the most dedicated carnivore. You could settle for a generic chain patty—but why would you? Whether you’re craving a classic smashburger after exploring Queens or seeking an Instagram-worthy stacked masterpiece, these are the essential spots for 2026.
Falafel Bites
$ | (347) 335-0596 | WEBSITE

We’re honestly not sure if the owners of Falafel Bites care if anyone finds their restaurant. You get into this Middle Eastern spot in the heart of Flushing via an unassuming storefront that’s easy to miss, and it always seems to be empty when you first walk by.
(The only reason we noticed it is because we saw someone carrying out a massive takeout bag.) Once you finally decide to go in, your server will recommend the perfectly crispy falafel as well as the mixed kebab that reminds us of tender, well-seasoned grilled meat. We recommend both of them, too. They also have board games that are only available for dine-in customers.
Golden K Burgers
$$ | (718) 819-8186 | WEBSITE

Golden K Burgers, which has become a local favorite in Flushing, offers over 25 burger options ranging from the Classic American to the Big Kahuna. If you’re the indecisive type and you’re willing to embrace the abundance, opt for the Farmhouse with its two thick, juicy patties, fried egg, and crispy bacon, and watch everyone envy your choice after your first few bites. Skip the upgraded fries, and stick with the solid regular fries, which are a great accompaniment to the burgers.
What we most appreciate about this place is the variety of options they offer to satisfy every craving, which include the generously sized single-patty burgers at a discount, the Bulgogi for something different, and their soft sesame brioche buns that hold everything together perfectly.
IHOP
$ | (718) 353-5576 | WEBSITE

The original IHOP is a classic American diner, and they serve some of the best breakfast in the city. This location is, fortunately, in Flushing. And the good news is: They make the same pancakes. So the next time you find yourself craving a reliable meal with friendly service during breakfast hours, get some food here. It isn’t as crowded as some downtown spots, but there are decent seating options, so you can enjoy your meal comfortably.
Hamburguesas El GORDO
$$ | (612) 722-1087 | WEBSITE

Hamburguesas El GORDO has some of the best burgers in Flushing. This spot is nestled in a neighborhood bustling with other dining choices, frequented by both locals and visitors. Options like steak tacos and birria are available, but we prefer the burger. The juicy, flavorful, unique patty is what makes each bite special, and you’ll want to savor every mouthful. The food is prepared to order, so you won’t get your meal quickly. It’s worth the wait.
Kennedy Fried Chicken
$ | (718) 321-0775 | WEBSITE

Kennedy Fried Chicken has been serving Flushing for years, so they’ve had plenty of time to perfect their specialty, fried chicken. There are plenty of chicken options to choose from like crispy wings with coleslaw and another with fries and carrot cake. We tend to gravitate towards the chicken combo that comes with two large pieces and a side of rice. Late at night, they offer fast service until 5:00 a.m.
that mixes and matches chicken with pizza and salads topped with things like fresh vegetables and creamy dressing.
Bridie’s Grill Room
$$ | (718) 426-8580 | WEBSITE

This Bridie’s Grill Room location in Flushing is designed with a spacious, open layout, and it feels like the space should be filled with sports fans cheering instead of people quietly dining. Bridie’s excels at hearty items like burgers, wraps, and dips. Because of that, we prefer their buffalo chicken wrap to their other options. One of their best is the cheese spinach dip served with chips. They also serve their espresso martini all day.
BurgerNow
$$ | (917) 285-2332 | WEBSITE

Most of Queens’ great burger joints are housed in cramped, fluorescent-lit spaces designed to make you feel like you’re waiting in line at the DMV, but BurgerNow turns that trope on its head. Here, you eat your creative burgers in a lively, comfortable space with private booths, where you can watch interesting food preparation at the bar.
For lunch, you can get a flavorful $14 O’dada burger with a split ramen bowl to try two flavors at once, which is easily the best burger lunch deal in this part of town.
KYURAMEN – Flushing
$$ | (917) 285-2332 | WEBSITE

Yes, you’ll see a clean, nicely decorated space that can get crowded with a long wait time. And, yes, you’ll still need to plan your arrival to avoid the busiest periods. But the service is actually quite attentive and friendly, and the ramen is worth returning for. All the bowls are loaded with flavor, so even a regular portion (most of which cost $14-$18) is relatively satisfying.
Considering every order comes with rich, spicy broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and beautifully presented desserts, you can get a well-rounded, substantial meal here for the cost of a nice dinner out.
Crispy Burger
$ | (646) 663-1588 | WEBSITE

In 2026, Crispy Burger stands out in Flushing, and the crowds make you seriously consider the wait for hot, crispy food. This Queens favorite is now a must-visit, and everything on their varied menu arrives with that signature crunch and juiciness. They offer popular items like fried chicken and burgers, but what’s unique are their standout dishes like the roast Orleans style chicken with its impressive serving size.
The portions are generous, and once you try the grape limeade, you’ll want to sample all their tasty drinks. It’s good to have cravings.
K-Munchies
$ | (347) 331-0908 | WEBSITE

This Flushing favorite, which has been serving up comfort food for years now, is a well-oiled machine that’s been fine-tuned to perfection. The service here skews north of impeccable, especially from Thant Sin, who is kind and helpful, but the food—the spicy chicken sandwich, for example—is the main reason why this is still an amazing place to eat. The combo deals are around $12, which is $5 less than the least-expensive option at other chains in the area.
Think of this place for a quick bite on your next comfort food craving.
Junction DELI
$$ | (718) 433-9482 | WEBSITE

Ever since this neighborhood deli opened in Flushing, we’ve been regulars. Even with the endless parade of new burger joints, this spot still delivers one of the most satisfying meals in the category. But Junction DELI doesn’t take phone orders, and, even at midday, the counter can require a bit of patience and a short wait. Not so on weekday mornings, where you can pretty much stroll in, place your order, and drown your hunger in generous portions of well-packed sandwiches.
Choose one of the made-to-order options, put your worries aside, and enjoy a reliable moment of true comfort in the middle of a bustling Queens neighborhood.
