Particularly items like wings, onion rings, and watermelon lemonade—which are all done very well. The comfortable space is casual, the service is always attentive, and they have plenty of seating options that are great for catching a game or enjoying a relaxed meal.

This lively burger joint has become our favorite spot to grab a satisfying meal in Lewisville. It’s not just because Lime N Dime is clean and trendy, has direct to table delivery, and a welcoming atmosphere with improved service. No, it’s also because the food is excellent.
The menu features must-try burgers like the flavorful Smash burger, the spicy Jalapeños beef burger, and the highly recommended house burger, along with standout dishes like the deliciously spicy Chicken 65 and the best loaded house fries. All of which are likely to make you forget you were just looking for a quick bite.

We were initially skeptical when we heard Dairy Queen was one of the best burger spots in Lewisville. After all, we weren’t particularly impressed with the fast food at some other chain locations. But this restaurant is actually pretty great. It has a slightly different vibe, with treats like the Tropical Blizzard with toasted coconut, pineapple, pecan, and banana—creamy soft-serve blended with fresh fruit and nuts.
Plus, the clean, kid-friendly space is perfect for families, while also being pleasant enough to enjoy a quick treat. The staff, including the friendly employee named Sam, provides attentive service whether you’re dining in or using the drive-thru. Despite the busy environment, they remain kind and efficient. We especially enjoyed the cookies and cream and Reese’s peanut butter cup Blizzards, along with desserts like the Peanut Buster Parfait. Even pets get treats like puppuccinos and biscuits.
Sure, there might be occasional issues with old fries or stale bread, but the overall experience remains positive. We plan to return for more delicious treats.
54th Street Restaurant & Drafthouse

The dishes are straightforward but really good, like the Daddy Mac n Cheese that balances its creaminess with tasty grilled veggies on the side, and steak and seafood options that are consistently tender.
This Texas joint does have a sometimes-silly eclectic side, like sitting under that unexpected elephant trophy. Still, it’s refreshing to feel genuinely entertained by a burger place in 2026, especially with those decent prices for the quality and service.
Burgerlicious Gourmet Burgers & Lemonade Bar

This burger joint is the rare BYOB spot where the beef is really good and the atmosphere is peaceful enough to earn its Lewisville location. Burgerlicious’s space is inviting, has a calm vibe that may briefly make you consider lingering longer than planned, and the focused menu is full of items that are objectively satisfying—whether you’re a burger enthusiast or not. There’s the Big Tex served on a brioche bun and crispy onion rings paired with an unbelievably tasty cotton candy lemonade.
The clean environment has plenty of seats for solo diners, but also enough space for a group of friends sharing loaded fries.

In fact, it’s located right in the heart of Lewisville, and also has consistently friendly staff and quick service. Even better, the dining room (filled with bright colors and a playground) feels a little like the setting for a family outing, but here you can pick your own crown to wear while you wait.

The Lewisville comfort food trifecta ends here, and Mill Street Diner is the most authentic and welcoming of the bunch. Mill Street Diner is great for breakfast—stop by for a quick Chicken fried steak, a plate of Redneck Benedict, and some scratch-made sides. Not necessarily in that order.
Five Guys

Five Guys is a nostalgic burger spot that’s great for a quick lunch or family outing with excellent double cheeseburgers, and it comes from the people behind consistent, straightforward-not-flashy chains like In-N-Out and Shake Shack. Here, the fun vibe is classic American diner, with a soundtrack of oldies rock and pop. And like most places from the same restaurant group, the food is overall pretty good.
The burgers are juicy and customizable, like with a double cheeseburger that we have trouble finishing. There are also some simple dishes that pay off, like hot salty plentiful fries that are perfectly crispy, and a grilled cheese that’s basic on the outside but a delicious melty cheese situation on the inside. If you want to check out what’s definitely going to remain a reliable neighborhood spot, start planning for a wait of ten or fifteen minutes during peak hours.
