While everybody would totally understand if you choose to spend your time with their fluffy pancakes, veggie omelettes, and fresh squeezed orange juice, you should also feel free to slow things down a bit. Seaside Diner’s bacon cheeseburger is a good bet. Perhaps the eggs with crispy bacon, or pancakes with maple syrup—along with a refill of that highly recommended orange juice.

These morning staples are cooked fresh daily, and with options like the Florentine omelet, crab cake omelet, and highly recommended eggs Benedict, they’re perfect for starting your day right. Panda House

Wildwood has plenty of Chinese spots, but if you’re craving something with bold flavor, quick service, and a little personality, you can’t beat Panda House. It’s got everything you’d want from a classic Chinese restaurant. Delicious food? Absolutely. Polite staff? For sure. Fast service even for big orders? They deliver. There are a few standout dishes—the menu is vast with great flavor and a nice kick of spice—but they nail all the Chinese classics.
Just remember to bring cash, and maybe book ahead if you’re coming with a large group, especially if you want to enjoy the charming homemade artwork on the walls.
Flight Deck Diner

When your friend is talking about taking a weekend trip to the Jersey Shore, or wants to watch planes instead of just flying in them, head to Flight Deck Diner. A kind of classic little diner tucked inside the Cape May County Airport, this is the kind of place you stumble across on a weekend search for a hearty breakfast, and end up discovering a menu full of some really, really great diner fare. You can fill plates with freshly made pancakes, tasty omelets, and classic burgers.
They’ve also got lunch specials and great breakfast combos with things like home fries or, our favourite, crispy bacon.
Marvis Diner

One of our all-time favourite diners, this spacious Wildwood spot serves some seriously good, seriously generous breakfasts. With classic combos like pork roll egg and cheese on a brioche bun and massive shareable omelets, you’ll want to try them all.
Although there’s plenty of seating inside, including two outdoor patios, we’d grab a creamy vanilla milkshake and a plate of delectable tater tots, and enjoy the diner’s impressive “Marvis Heaven” skillet as the morning sun streams through the windows.
Surfside West Diner

Yes it’s a short drive from the boardwalk and just off the main strip in Wildwood. But trust us when we tell you that the excellent breakfast here is worth it. Featuring classics like fluffy pancakes or perfectly poached eggs, they’re the kind of hearty dishes that will keep you satisfied until lunch. Plus if you’re getting your meal to go, you’re closest to the beach access points.
The area surrounding the diner, with its clean and welcoming old-school vibe, is a great place to start your day with some fresh coffee and pancakes from Surfside West and make a real morning out of it.
