Get some pasta (like the chicken parmesan) or the chicken margarita. The chocolate lasagna is what brings everyone back together.
The atmosphere feels welcoming with plenty of space for kids to move around, though parking gets tight when it’s busy. Our waitress Net was smiling the whole time and handled special requests without any fuss. They even brought out a complimentary dessert when they found out it was my birthday. Everything arrived hot and fresh, and nobody left hungry. It’s the kind of place where everyone can find something they like, whether they’re vegetarian or need wheelchair access.

Benny’s Pizza is one of our absolute favorite mall pizza spots, and it has a near 100% success rate with just about everyone, including kids. Not only is it exactly the kind of friendly, welcoming place that people think is on every corner in small-town pizzerias, but the pizza really is excellent. We like the boudain pizza and the stuffed meat pizza, both of which are around $18 – and the fact that the restaurant offers vegan options and delivery through GrubHub.
Carrabba’s Italian Grill

This classic Italian grill in Beaumont is somehow still serving massive portions (despite having been around forever and the modern trend of, well, smaller plates). It’s hard to tell whether you’re here for the food or the service (in the best possible way), and as a bonus, this is definitely the kind of place where everyone can order their own $25-ish pasta dish without having to worry about leaving hungry. Just in case those diet resolutions actually didn’t work out so well after all.
Tuscany Italian Restaurant

Aside from serving delicious, not-too-expensive Italian food, Tuscany Italian Restaurant in Beaumont is pretty reliable for getting a table. So if, hypothetically, you totally forgot to plan something until 30 minutes ago, it’s a great idea. Unlike some fancier Italian spots, this location also takes reservations. Just make sure you order the Fettuccine Alfredo with jalapenos and some chicken Tuscany to start.
