Ever been to Barrie? You might not think of it as a Mediterranean food destination. But this Ontario city is home to what could be the best casual lunch spot in the region. The team behind the counter, including the excellent Preet, is serving up generous portions of favorites like the Chicken and Gyro bowls.
With healthier options like the Shawn bowl and Maya Salad bowl, and consistently fresh produce in dishes like the Chicken Shawarma and Falafel, this place has become my go-to for a satisfying meal. The welcoming atmosphere gives you a real taste of culture, and while service can slow down during busy times, the food quality—made with love, as many customers say—makes it absolutely worth it. The courteous staff and that fresh, flavorful food have me thoroughly impressed every time.
