Whether you’re a Cocoa local or just passing through on a Florida road trip, grabbing a large slice at Troy’s will likely make you realize that you don’t need to spend a fortune to feel like you’re part of the community. While in town, you are practically obligated to try their fresh pizza and a spinach roll that can be customized just how you like it.
(These beloved items are called Stromboli, by the way, and they’re made with care) Troy’s Pizzeria was, unsurprisingly, started by a community-minded team – and they’ve been serving families for years. There are a few cozy tables inside Troy’s unassuming storefront, but we like to take our hot slices over to enjoy at home. It has that reliable, comforting feel that makes you want to come back every Wednesday.
Stoner’s Pizza Joint Cocoa/Rockledge

Stoner’s Pizza Joint operates out of a strip mall in a suburban stretch filled with takeout spots, and they’re open late into the night for delivery and carryout. When you’re here, you should order a large NY pizza with the singular decisiveness of a person who only ever consumes pizza. Each pie arrives hot and fresh, topped with quality ingredients, then served with a side of friendly, accommodating service.
This is some of the best pizza in Cocoa, and we dream about it more than we dream about finding a perfect slice at a chain. Expect crowds on weekend evenings.
Marco’s Pizza

Marco’s Pizza is a reliable pizza spot in Cocoa that’s filled with bright red booths, checkered tablecloths, and pizza boxes stacked by the counter like trophies in a sports hall. If you need another reason to come here, know that they have a popular Greek salad you can order for lunch or dinner every day. Our favorite is their classic pizza, topped with a generous combination of cheese, pepperoni, vegetables, and savory meats.
It’s all served on a doughy crust that has a hearty, satisfying texture unlike all the other greasy pizzas ordered in this town.
Ryan’s Pizza & Pub

You should head to Ryan’s Pizza & Pub in Cocoa for dinner after a day at the beach. Beyond the delicious garlic knots that arrive warm and buttery and a Buffalo Chicken Calzone packed with tender chicken and tangy sauce, the service here is excellent. On one of our visits, almost every member of the staff checked in on us throughout the night, offering details on the $18 Chicken Bacon Ranch tacos, and making sure our drinks were always full.
It’s also worth mentioning that the restaurant was built with convenience in mind, with easy parking and access to the top balcony offering great views.
Pozzy Bros. Pizza

All of Pozzy Bros. Pizza’s unlimited menu options make for ideal takeout choices if you want a personal pie for a quick bite on the go. But if you’re feeding a crowd, order a bunch of their signature pizzas in bulk, like the Pozzy Special or their solid New York-style with thin crispy crust. The whole selection, including classics with just the right sauce and plenty of cheese, is available directly at their gas station counter from open to close every day.
Bella’s Pizza

This gas station pizza joint serves some of the best pizza in Cocoa. Each slice costs $3 and the topping options range from classic pepperoni to the Jersey White with black olives and sausage that releases savory juices that spill out of your slice and onto your plate (probably) as you tilt your head to devour it in no more than four bites.
Our favorite is the stromboli, which has such little doughy heaviness it might be unidentifiable as a filled roll save for the perfectly balanced marinara taste.
Domino’s Pizza

Finding a reliable pizza spot that stays open late in Cocoa is like when you realize that leftover pizza actually tastes better cold. It’s a comforting discovery, makes us incredibly grateful, and was something we needed all along. This sums up our feelings about Domino’s Pizza, a consistent chain that now feels like a neighborhood savior in our area.
Their chicken, bacon, ranch deep dish is perfect for those late-night cravings – pizza crust loaded with ranch sauce, generous chunks of chicken, and crispy bacon bits. The deep dish is extra satisfying with lots of melted cheese baked in, and the chicken is pure comfort food bliss – simply seasoned, tender, and bursting with savory flavor.

If you’re after something meatier, the Meat Lover’s variety is satisfying, though my personal favorite specialty pizza here is the Supreme, which is loaded with toppings and comes with a generous handful of fresh grated Parmesan.
