Sarpino’s Pizzeria Coral Springs
$$ | (954) 906-8880 | WEBSITE

As the year winds down, it’s worth considering whether your pizza consumption has matched your cravings. If you find yourself wanting more, I strongly suggest ordering from Sarpino’s Pizzeria Coral Springs for what might be the most satisfying pizza I’ve enjoyed recently. This perfectly balanced pie features a crisp-yet-chewy crust, tangy tomato sauce, and generous toppings, all baked to golden perfection.
One bite is enough to make even the most classic neighborhood pizzeria seem ordinary by comparison.
Joe’s Pizza & Pasta at Coral Springs
$ | (954) 757-9090 | WEBSITE

There’s no shortage of pizza joints in Coral Springs, but being from New York, I had given up on finding a suitable stand-in for authentic NYC-style pizza. But then I stumbled upon Joe’s Pizza & Pasta. It’s a family-friendly Italian restaurant in the Lakeview neighborhood that serves pasta and Stromboli, but they also sell perfectly baked NYC-style pizza that tastes like it came straight from a Brooklyn oven.
On a busy Florida evening when nothing but a hot slice with that crispy-yet-chewy crust will satisfy any craving you’ve got, Joe’s Pizza & Pasta is the place.
Livello
$$$ | (754) 777-9277 | WEBSITE

Whenever I find myself in Coral Springs, the first thing I always crave is a plate of Short Pork Ribs from Livello. Nothing signals a perfect evening like tasting that tender meat that melts off the bone. I’ve enjoyed these ribs while celebrating my promotion, with my sister visiting from out of state, and even ordered them for a cozy date night at home. An appetizer portion will run you about $16, but to me, Livello’s food is priceless.
Pizza Time Italian Restaurant
$$ | (954) 753-7828 | WEBSITE

I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have snagged one of the last grandma pizzas at Pizza Time Italian Restaurant, seeing as they often sell out by early evening, and I’m writing this literally minutes after finishing my outstanding slice. In fact, I think there’s still a bit of that tasty, greasy saltiness on my fingers.
Between the solid, rollable New York-style crust, the hefty vegetarian toppings, and that perfect balance of flavors, this pizza is scrumptious and just satisfying enough in all the right places.
Little Caesars Pizza
$ | (954) 757-3772 | WEBSITE

One of the most important parts about being a pizza lover is the responsibility to share your Crazy Puffs. My family orders a classic Thin Crust Pepperoni Pizza from this Coral Springs spot at least once a week, and while the pizza is good, it comes with these incredible Crazy Puffs that have a perfect balance between crispy and pillowy – and their savory garlic sauce is the cherry on top. They always share, every time, and that’s why we keep coming back.
Angelo Elia Pizza, Bar, Tapas
$$ | (954) 344-1233 | WEBSITE

Pretty soon I’ll be heading back to Coral Springs, and I got so excited that I needed to order the lemon snapper from Angelo Elia immediately. Thankfully, this Italian spot offers exceptional dishes like that perfectly seasoned fish alongside their tender veal parmigiana and thoroughly enjoyed lasagna.
It’s worth the trip for this expertly prepared hunk of lemon risotto topped with shrimp, cannellini beans in broth, and chicken meatball (which is exactly like the comforting pasta bolognese), with a reasonably priced glass of wine for pairing. More importantly, it makes me really pumped to soon dine extremely close to Angelo Elia and become their #1 regular guest.
Jet’s Pizza
$ | (954) 340-9999 | WEBSITE

This winter, I’ve been on a bit of a Detroit-style pizza kick, which has turned into a weeks-long pursuit of the best one in Coral Springs. And I’m happy to report that the Jet10 from Jet’s Pizza is a top contender. Their deep-dish crust is loaded with a generous helping of toppings and that delicious, drippy cheese—plus, it’ll only run you about $18. If you can make it to this clean, friendly spot, this is a pizza that’s absolutely worth the trip.
John The Baker Coral Springs
$ | (954) 227-4992 | WEBSITE

I have a theory that in every situation where you’d normally use marinara sauce, a nostalgic marinara would objectively be the better choice. Think about it. For a classic Italian diner pizza. As a dip for garlic rolls. A salad’s best friend for life. To further test what I’m calling ‘The Coral Springs Corollary,’ I went ahead and ordered a pizza from John The Baker Coral Springs, a reliable spot operating out of their takeout-focused location.
With an amazing and perfectly baked crust, fresh ingredients, and plenty of friendly service, this is already a stellar pizza. But their nostalgic marinara sauce with just a hint of classic flavor and consistency completely seals the deal. And, successfully proves my theory.
Pepperoni Grill
$ | (954) 345-1604 | WEBSITE

I never imagined that there could be a pizza from Pepperoni Grill that could rival their classic pepperoni, but here comes their off-menu Veal Milanese. I may have completely overwhelmed my taste buds by devouring this glorious, perfectly plated masterpiece of tender veal, fresh herbs, and rich sauce at the cozy table, but truth be told, my appetite’s been through less.
Guido’s Pizzeria & Restaurant
$ | (954) 575-5553 | WEBSITE

There are few things I have zero complaints about – a perfectly worn-in leather jacket, the first sip of espresso on a lazy Sunday morning, and the entire second season of The Bear (especially the “Forks” episode). And now I can add pizza from Guido’s Pizzeria to that list. Between the white pizza with ricotta cheese, the variety of delicious salads, the warm subs, and the inviting atmosphere, this is a dining experience that’s better than the sum of its parts—even though each part is excellent.
Pasquale’s Pizza & Subs
$ | (954) 341-0707 | WEBSITE

I have a friend who really hates pizza. He’s written up a manifesto about his dislike for it and has called me vain for enjoying it. Well, Dave, I wish I could serve you the ‘New York Style Pizza’ from Pasquale’s Pizza & Subs. Each slice is so crisp and chewy, super garlicky from those amazing garlic rolls, and has soaked up a bunch of delicious tomato sauce and juice from the fresh mozzarella. All of you pizza skeptics out there, please give this pie a try.
Toscana Pizza & Grill
$$ | (954) 345-4343 | WEBSITE

I’ve been chasing the perfect pizza since my first slice in 2012, and while fresh ingredients and attentive service matter to me, the true test of any pie comes down to that first stolen bite from a friend’s plate. And what have I shamelessly snagged from my dining companion’s tray recently? That would be Toscana’s phenomenal meat lovers pizza. The crust has all the crispness and chew of a perfectly baked focaccia, only here it’s topped with a generous layer of savory meats and melted cheese.
This pizza alone makes this hidden gem one of the best Italian-Uruguayan spots in Coral Springs.
Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza & Wings
$ | (954) 340-2625 | WEBSITE

I swear I’m not exaggerating when I say that Anthony’s Wednesday pizza deal is sometimes my only reason to look forward to the middle of the week. It’s difficult to pinpoint exactly what makes their pizza so remarkable – the perfectly charred crust from the coal-fired oven? The generous, bubbling cheese? The fresh, vibrant tomato sauce? Or perhaps it’s just that magical, soul-satisfying combination of it all.
The large pizza, which comes out piping hot and beautifully blistered, is packed with flavor and surprisingly affordable at just ten dollars—and you should absolutely order one immediately. Grab a cold beer from their selection to wash it down.
Scuola Vecchia Pizza E Vino – Coral Springs
$$ | (954) 420-6312 | WEBSITE

My winter strategy has been to try as many pizzas as possible (Coral Springs has some decent spots) and to enjoy a cozy meal away from the Florida heat. I was recently able to do both by ordering a ‘Margherita’ and savoring it in their warm, inviting dining room. Besides getting the fresh, light tomato sauce all over my shirt and being teased by my dining companion for taking a photo of the perfectly charred crust, I had a wonderful experience.
The airy, crisp crust with that satisfying crunch and the quality imported cheese made every bite worth it. The friendly staff kept the atmosphere light, and though the prices run a bit higher than average, the quality absolutely justifies it. That standout tiramisu was the perfect finish—I’ll definitely be back for more.
Marco’s Top Burgers
$$ | (954) 999-8665 | WEBSITE

For some reason, I grew up with an obsession for burgers. In fact, I used to (and still do) lovingly call them ‘beefy buns.’ That said, I hold smashed patties to a high standard, and it’s my firm belief that the ones from Marco’s Top Burgers are the best in town. They’re seasoned perfectly with fresh ingredients and Brazilian sauces – which makes them taste just as comforting on their own as they do in the same bite as a mouthful of Angus beef and melted mozzarella.
Also, forget ketchup—just douse the heck out of these beefy buns with Marco’s garlic or smoked sauce.
J.R. Pizza Bella Restaurant
$ | (954) 753-1300 | WEBSITE

There are so many pizza places in this city. Neapolitan pies. New York slices. Chicago deep-dish. But the options are limited if you’re looking to have a cultural fusion moment. At J.R. Pizza Bella Restaurant, they are serving a garlic roll appetizer alongside mofongo and pork chops. The Italian doesn’t overpower anything, the atmosphere is lively, and the Puerto Rican specialties themselves are just as hearty as a classic calzone.
Take a break from your pepperoni pizza and grab this for dinner instead.
AMO Pizzeria
$ | (954) 507-4545 | WEBSITE

Look, I love a classic pepperoni as much as the next person. But I’m here to make a case for AMO Pizzeria’s lunch specials. Priced fairly and served with that family-style warmth, they’re the real crown jewels of this Coral Springs Italian spot’s dining experience. But you should also try their welcoming atmosphere because the staff treats you like family.
Pasquale & Sons’ Pizza Company
$ | (954) 510-0707 | WEBSITE

I love pizza in all forms, whether it’s thin-crust, deep-dish, or New York-style. So when I saw the large pizza pies on Pasquale & Sons’ menu described as ‘super fresh,’ I had to order one. Even though there’s a special place in my heart for this spot’s excellent chicken wings, these perfectly baked pies were the ideal canvas for some classic toppings—and by far the best thing on my dinner table. Add on a side of their signature Zeppolis and I think I found my new favorite pizza joint.
BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse
$$ | (954) 227-7055 | WEBSITE

I am always searching for spots where I can enjoy a solid burger without feeling like I tossed my paycheck into the Atlantic. The reliable place in Coral Springs where I can achieve this satisfying feeling is at BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse. If you also love to feel this way and have $16.75 to part with, their Big CharBurger is loaded with so much goodness including a juicy patty, crisp lettuce, ripe tomato, melted cheese, and special sauce all on a toasted bun.
This burger makes me want to thank every single server like Christian and Justin and tell them I appreciate you, I value you, and I’m coming back.
