The section you should spend most of your time in, however, is the breakfast platters. And in particular, the grits and ham combination. Named for the comforting Southern tradition, this is a fairly simple dish (even compared to others on Waffle House’s menu), but the ham adds a certain savory-saltiness that makes it one of the most satisfying in Florida.
