Lounge Six Parkway Sky Bar

Unless you’re still in your 20s, staying out past midnight might feel like a distant memory. That’s why you and your special someone should plan an evening at Lounge Six Parkway Sky Bar instead. This St. Catharines spot started out as a rooftop bar, but is now a tremendous, all-night destination with elevated, great food and a lot of friends celebrating with each other. The bartenders serve shots that are highly rated and the drinks are reasonably priced at around $15.
But the star of the show here is their outdoor seating with heaters and lights, which is about as comfortable as the couch you’ll be sinking into shortly thereafter.
Hewad Kabab and Shawarma

Hewad Kabab and Shawarma is an Afghan spot located in Niagara Falls – an ideal choice when you and your friends want something casual but crave authentic flavors. There’s a spacious dining area inside, but we prefer to grab our food to go and enjoy it somewhere with a view of the falls. As far as the food goes, the priority here absolutely needs to be the Waziri plate. It’s perfectly spiced, wonderfully tender, and so unbelievably satisfying you’ll forget you’re actually eating takeout.
We also like their mantu, which is a bit more delicate than other versions in the area, and goes nicely with the soft, fresh naan that you’re absolutely sharing together.
Cold Break Brewing

Open since 2020, Cold Break Brewing is a St. Catharines staple, and the perfect spot to unwind after a long week – especially with someone who appreciates good beer as much as you do. Order the fish tacos, a local favorite featuring flaky white fish with crisp cabbage slaw, though you’ll want to eat them quickly before the corn tortillas get too soft.
You’ll sit at rustic wooden tables on their lively patio, share the outstanding whipped ricotta appetizer with crusty bread, and neither of you will even think about leaving – mainly because you’re too busy debating which craft beer to try next from their rotating taps. We’d consider that quality relaxation time, indeed.
Maestro’s Pizzeria
