Our favorite thing about this place is their vibrant mango prawn salad, which is a little like what you’d find at a high-end Thai restaurant, and we mean that as a compliment. And it comes with fresh herbs and crisp vegetables on a beautifully arranged plate.
The curries are another highlight, with the Red Curry with vegetables being particularly memorable for its rich coconut milk base and perfectly cooked seasonal produce. We also tried the Pad Kee Mao with beef, which had that wonderful wok-charred flavor that keeps us coming back. The small dining area feels cozy rather than cramped, with warm lighting and simple wooden tables that create an inviting atmosphere.
While the prices are on the higher side for mall dining, around $18-$22 for most entrees, the quality justifies the cost. The Thai tea is indeed as good as everyone says—sweet, creamy, and the perfect balance to the spices. Service was quick and friendly, with our server checking in just enough without being intrusive. Despite the modest portion sizes, the flavors are so concentrated and satisfying that we left completely content.

Sukhothai Cuisine in Fairfield is no exception, and their version is delicious. It’s made with a rich coconut milk base and is joined by fresh basil, bamboo shoots, and your choice of protein. Plus, the curry comes with a side of perfectly steamed jasmine rice. The creamy texture of the curry combined with the fragrant rice is a pretty outstanding combination.

Now, the renewed energy in service runs a cozy and inviting atmosphere that’s operating out of a convenient location with ample parking. And we can say that the Khao Soi from the specials board might be even better than its predecessor.
The flavorful curry has bold, well-balanced spices, and comes with a delicate coconut broth that will feel familiar to anyone who loves Thai cuisine. It’s served with tender noodles and crispy toppings and has a satisfyingly rich flavor that holds up to the hype.
Rod-Sap Thai Lao Kitchen

You’ll get a choice of house sauce with most orders, and you should definitely try it – unless you skip it entirely.
The owner Tui provides top-notch service, making you feel right at home with that pleasant atmosphere. Many regulars say they’ve been coming here for years, and the food always delivers those great flavors, like the Bangkok fried rice with special curry powder and spices or the superb trout with curry sauce.
